Saveurs des Continents honours 788 individuals for their community contributions

LAVAL – Tonight the Saveurs des Continents restaurant chain honoured some 788 deserving volunteers in the regions of Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, Gatineau, Lanaudière and the Laurentian Mountains as part of its annual volunteer tribute evening.

This is a yearly event organized by the management of each of the chain’s six restaurants, in collaboration with the leaders of various volunteer organizations, and is intended to honour the most dedicated and deserving individuals in each region during Volunteer Week.

“This tribute to volunteers takes place at the same time in all the restaurants; it rewards each region’s volunteers for their exemplary involvement in society,” explains the chain’s spokesperson and owner of the Gatineau restaurant, Tony Priftakis.

“The work of these volunteers is vital in our regions. These people are committed, dynamic and innovative, as well as being available and reliable. They are genuine leaders who set an example for others to follow!”

The support offered to these volunteers and organizations by Saveurs des Continents is clearly reflected in the fact that each restaurant in the chain provides food to the volunteers involved in the various social and sports activities held throughout the year in each region.
